Avalon’s new restaurant offers a meat menu that creatively reinterprets the local cuisine; the new Executive Chef, Vincenzo Vitola, employs some excellent products from our territory (such as Radovich oil and Zidarich cheeses) with the aim of evoking the flavors and aromas of the Karst and uses strictly seasonal products.
You can also taste excellent pizzas, stuffed with high quality local ingredients, prepared with a semi-wholemeal dough obtained from a mix of Molino Moras flours which we let rise for at least 24 hours so as to be fragrant as well as easily digestible.

Restaurant
The restaurant seeks to welcome the customer, by promoting a traditional cuisine, reinterpreted with a contemporary twist with specific attention to the choice of raw materials. The menu allows you to embark on a real journey into Trieste’s diverse food and wine culture thanks to unique attention to local herbs, original combinations and seasonal ingredients.


Pizzeria
The long leavening at a controlled temperature, the use of stone-ground flours and the combination of seasonal and high-quality ingredients make our pizzas unique. All the details, from dough preparation to cooking in the wood oven, are carefully supervised by our pizza chefs.


Events hall
The restaurant promotes an events schedule devoted to customers, such as drinks and dinners with local producers, thematic dinners, drinks in the park with the aim of introducing the public to small and medium businesses; on these occasions, the chef conceives a tasting menu that allows you to embark on a genuine food and wine journey.

Discover our menu
We change our menu periodically in order to best represent the biodiversity of seasons and the love for raw materials, distinguishing trait of the cuisine of chef Vitola.
The wine list reflects our bond with the territory and represents the entire region, from Collio to Karst; the beers, instead, are handcrafted by the Friuli agricultural brewery Gjulia.
The restaurant has an internal room and a large outdoor garden, immersed in the typical greenery and scents of the Trieste Karst, perfect for “cooling off” on hot summer days.
